My aim at the school is to create a learning environment where your children’s talents are recognised and that they are nurtured and encouraged to be the best that they can be. My first impressions of the school are really positive. The children are friendly and enthusiastic to learn. The school is fortunate to have highly skilled teachers across the whole school and support staff who assist with the development of the children in our care. I have met a few parents but I look forward to meeting all of you very soon. I operate with an open door policy where I make myself available to listen to parents’ concerns wherever possible. I encourage you to make contact with me if you have any concerns regarding the education of your children. Some parents were able to stay and share a cup of tea after Monday’s assembly and I would like to encourage more parents to do this in the staffroom next Monday. There is an adjoining room where pre-schoolers can be easily supervised and play during this time. It would be great if you are able to join me next Monday after assembly. As parents you place a great deal of faith in the school by sending your children here. I can assure you that everyone at the school is working together to take care of your children and to enable them to reach their potential. Thank you, Chris McCallum, JUNIOR Amelia MIDDLE Melody SENIOR Jordan CONGRATULATIONS Nathalia Primary School S Page 2 chool Council 2015 The school community welcomes our new school councillors for 2015 as well as those returning for another year.
