American Independent Power LLC. Mag-Drive Power Supply Standard Specifications Standard System Definition: The baseline standard AIP Power Supply is a “grid tied” system with the option to add transfer switching components that are not included with the basic set up. The standard power supply as a system will utilize either 12 or 24VDC charge components with AC inverters appropriate to support the declared output value. The baseline power supply is designed to accommodate an 8 hour full capacity off take so that the needed recharge time can be accommodated based on the Mag-Drives charging circuit output required to maintain the system’s typical or “normal” use cycle. The system has an automatic output AC interruption alarm to detect the low voltage threshold at 11VDC which switches the system from power output to the full time charging cycle until the low voltage condition is corrected and ready to supply power during the pre-programed designated time frame. A maximum threshold of 45% discharge of battery storage has been set in order to minimize charge requirements and extend battery life on all deep cycle batteries used as part of the system. System configuration/placement assumptions – Rolls Surrette batteries are used unless customer specifies a battery that meets the established battery specification or if the availability of batteries does not permit customer specified delivery date. In which case an industry equivalent will be chosen and presented to customer for approval Standard cabling from Charge Unit to Battery Array Battery Array TBD by customer off take requirements Average system configuration priced between $1.75 and $2.00/watt FOB Nashville based on the standard grid tied 8hr full capacity system not including any options, other systems configurations will require a system specific quote. Systems do not include outdoor/weather proof enclosures (but will be provided based on customer requirements) 2 year end to end system warranty (extended warranty available) Estimated 10 year system life cycle (average battery life based on AIP selected battery quality 10 years) 535 Myatt Dr. Madison, TN 37115 American Independent Power LLC. Average input requirement in terms of watts roughly 4 - 6% of charge circuit output hourly (may vary based on final customer use requirements) [NOTE: Either AC or DC input can be accommodated] Average operating environmental temperature ranges [ -20◦ F to 150◦F] Average system operating temperature < 150◦F No specific environmental issues or concerns beyond the standard use of industrial SLA, AGM or other marine or solar battery. 7kW Power Supply 12VDC charge input/battery voltage Charging capacity – 290 Amps/hr @ 12VDC 120/240VAC output single phase inverter (pure sine wave) (Optional) – Stationary or mobile (casters) available on all units.
