JAMES RIVER FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION
The members of the James River Firefighters Association look forward to hosting the 131st North Dakota Firefighters
Association State Convention to be held June 4-5-6, 2015 at the Jamestown Civic Center at 212 3rd St. NE in Jamestown.
We hope you will have a tremendous and memorable convention with us.
Enclosed in this packet you will find registration forms for the convention, golf tournament, motorcycle run, ladies
event, and fire truck parade. Also enclosed is information for submitting your fallen firefighters for the memorial service
and a T-shirt or challenge coin order form for those of that wish to pre-order. For those still looking for lodging, please
visit the NDFA website to see where blocks of rooms have been reserved.
Thursday’s events begin with the Annual Golf Tournament at Cross Roads Golf Course in Carrington ND, located just
north of Carrington along Hwy 281. We will be running a bus from Jamestown to Carrington that morning and back after
the tournament is done. It will be required for you to pre-register for a seating on the bus so please fill out the form and
send back with registration. We also will be hosting a motorcycle run that day as well starting off from Stutsman Harley
Davidson at 10 am kick stands up at 11 am. (Weather permitting) The run will make stops through JRFA member towns
along the run route.
The ND Fire Chiefs Association meeting will be held at the Jamestown Civic Center on Thursday starting at 6:00 pm. A
social and meal will also be served that evening at the Gladstone Inn approximately around 6:45 pm with a presentation
from the ND Firefighters Museum.
We also have some special guests coming for this year’s convention to participate along with the tremendous
convention speaker. Friday’s memorial service will be attended the Aberdeen Pipes and Drum Corpes. We will also have
Vivian from the Pink Heals Tour joing us as well, Friday after the parade they will also be making a stop at the Jamestown
Relay for Life at the Jamestown College, and on Saturday for those who choose to participate, Stoudt Ford’s Running of
the Pink Cancer Fundraiser.
The Spouses Program will be a tour of various locations around the Jamestown Area. This event will start at 9 am Friday
morning, leaving from the Civic Center parking lot. The tour will include lunch and stops at various attractions that will
be of interest for all in attendance. There are a limited number of seats available on the bus so please get your spouse’s
registration in early to guarantee your spot.
There will be a Fire Truck Parade after close of the Friday session. Line-up will take place in the West Parking Lot of the
