Nihondaira Ropeway
This ropeway connects Nihondaira with Kunozan Toshogu Shrine of historical site for Tokugawa
Ieyasu in five minutes. Please enjoy the 1065m trip guided by a pleasant courier with the
seasonal panoramic landscape below your eyes expanding beyond Suruga Bay to Izu Peninsula
or Cape Omaezaki.
Kunozan Toshogu Shrine
Kunozan Toshogu is a shrine dedicated to the famous leader Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543-1616) who
brought a long period of civil wars to an end and united all of Japan. The shrine complex itself is
extensive and consists of a large number of bright red buildings decorated with gold accents and
colorful carvings and paintings.
5:00p.m. – Bus leaves for JR Shizuoka Station/Hotel Century Shizuoka
*The arrival time may vary due to traffic.
 Charge: 1,000yen/person (Admission fees included.)
 Registration begins on May 24, 3:30pm.
(Closed during general registration on May 25, 8:30-10:45)

