Visit to Amec Foster Wheeler

Visit hosted by- Engineering Development, AMECFW Clean Energy
Two tours are available:
Tour 1 at 1600hrs- This will take in the manufacturing facility, RD2 high
bay rig laboratory and materials/ component test laboratories at Walton
House
Tour 2 at 1830hrs- This will take in the GEL high bay laboratory, remote
operations and graphite core test rigs
Both tours will conclude with refreshments and a chance to chat with the
people involved.
PPE required
Safety shoes needed – AMEC standards dictate that they should be to BS EN ISO
20345:2004 with steel mid
mid--sole protection. NO RIGGERS BOOTS
Lab coats, helmets and safety glasses will be provided on arrival for the walkwalk-round.
