Benefit Auction. Our many families, dedicated
teachers, administration and staff want you to know
that they appreciate your presence and the support
you show by your enthusiastic participation in the
bidding this evening.
We are grateful for the generosity of so many in
giving their time, talent, and resources to this event.
We know that the financial gain realized is only
part of the benefit we receive. We consider the
relationships formed during the last twelve auctions
a great blessing to us and to the school.

the challenge of providing quality
education without the help of tax
dollars. Nebraska Christian is also
not
under
the
shelter
of
denominational support. Parents of
students must bear the majority of
the costs involved in educating their
students, but tuition alone does not
meet all the demands.

that Nebraska Christian Schools can to continue

With Express Checkout you are guaranteed a quicker exit.
Here’s how it works:

When you arrive for the Saturday Evening event,
visit the Express Checkout table located at the
entrance where you pick up your bid card.
Present a Visa / MasterCard / Discover / American
Express Card for imprinting or a signed personal
check.
An auction volunteer will note your Express
Checkout status and place an Express Checkout
sticker on your bid card.
At the end of the evening you will be instructed from
the stage how to proceed to Express Checkout.
There is no need to stop by the cashier. Any gift
certificates that you have purchased will be given to
you at this time. Any other purchases you have made
will be listed on your Express Checkout form. Hand
your form to a runner and they will gather your
purchases for you and meet you at the southeast exit.
For your convenience, valet parking assistance will
also be available at the southeast exit.
If you did not elect Express Checkout, please
follow the steps below.

to proceed to Standard Checkout in the west hall,
Room 3.
Cashiers will be available for cash, check, or credit
card payments. Any gift certificates that you have
purchased will be given to you at check out.
Once you have paid for your purchases and received
your receipts, please take your paid receipts to the
Checkout Table at the northwest foyer entrance
where assistants will be ready to gather your
purchases for you.
Note: Assistance with picking up your purchased
items will not be available until the conclusion of
the Live Auction.

Rules: General
1. Use only the Bid Number assigned to you. This is your number for
bidding purposes, and you are responsible for any bid made with your
number.
2. Payments may be made with cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or
American Express.
3. Nebraska Christian and the Donors make NO express or implied warranties
of fitness, merchantability, or the like, or representations of any kind or nature
with respect to the property or services being sold at this auction. NO
statement in the catalog, or statements made at the sale shall be deemed to be
a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. Neither Nebraska
Christian nor the Donors are responsible for any personal injuries or damages
to property or services sold.
4. To determine the amount of your charitable contribution, consult your tax
adviser. Values set forth on items being auctioned are the Donor's estimate
and are not warranted.
5. If the items purchased require Donor assistance, it is suggested that the
Donor be contacted as soon as possible following the Dinner and Benefit
Auction.
6. Absentee bidding is available for those who are unable to be present.

Rules: Silent Auction
1. The Silent Auction tables will open from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday. Bids
may be placed during this preview time. No invitation is necessary and the
evening is open to the public
2. All Silent Auction items will have a Bid Card next to them on the Silent
Auction tables. Acceptable bid increments are preprinted on the Bid Card.
To enter a bid, write your Bid Number next to the amount you wish to bid.
The Bid Cards also include a Guarantee Purchase option to “Buy it Now.”
To guarantee your purchase of an item, write your bid number in the
Guarantee Purchase box.
3. For those not attending the Saturday evening event, successful bidders will
be called the following Monday. Items may be picked up at the Nebraska
Christian Auction Office located in the west hall of the gym building, 11:00 to
6:00 on Monday following the event or call to make other arrangements.
Rules: Live Auction
The Saturday evening event begins at 5:00 p.m. and is open only to those
people who have purchased tickets for the dinner. The three sections of tables
will close at 6:15, 6:45, and 7:15 respectively.
1. The Live Auction will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will continue without
interruption until all Live Auction items have been auctioned. The
Scholarship Auction will follow.
2. To enter a bid, raise your Bid Number high enough to attract the attention
of the auctioneer. Bid Takers will be available to watch for bids and to call
out bids to the auctioneer. You are responsible for all bids made on your
behalf by the Bid Takers.
3. Items may be removed after the close of the Scholarship Auction, or on the
following Monday, between 11:00 and 6:00 or call to make other
arrangements.
4. Decision of the auctioneer shall be final.
Note: Assistance with picking up your purchased items
will not be available until the conclusion of the Live
Auction.
