its members. NECA Members will have the opportunity to order Arc Rated uniforms in the one off order for a

This is a one off deal that expires on the 17 April 2015. Your purchase from Rexel will be facilitated by completing the
order online via NECAs online shop by this date to take full advantage of this exclusive deal. NECA will in turn place an
order on behalf of its members on the 20 April 2015 with delivery shortly afterwards.
Rexel advises that the garment fabric has been developed with the real “high performers” among the flame resistant
fabrics, Lenzing FR®. With 30 years success in personal protection, more than 16 million clothing pieces per year in Fire
Fighting, Military and Industrial PPE this unique range will provide the missing link in the FR ARC rated PPE market.
After several garment trials and feedback, Owen Leslie (Work Health and Safety Manager, NECA NSW) reported “The
garment attributes on breathability, comfort and the benefits on reduction on heat stress issues is exactly what the
workforce had been demanding in recent years, I wear it onsite myself.”
Indicative testing to date has shown the fabric to be up to 20% more breathable than some of the leading fabrics in the
marketplace plus an independant Test Institute Study (University of Graz) has shown that while carrying out physical work
and exercise, Lenzing FR blends may reduce the body core temperature compared to standard FR fabrics worn within the
industry.
