2015-2016 District Projects Chair Service Agreement
!
The following contract is to be signed by all who wish to serve as district projects chair. This
contract outlines the minimum performance requirements that the district projects chair must
maintain to remain in office and must be paired with the previous service agreement for all
District Board Members. It is understood that failure to observe the following agreement will
result in possible removal from office in accordance with the Key Club International Constitution
and Bylaws and the Standard Form of District Bylaws.

The district projects chair agrees to do the following during his/her term of office:
1. The District Projects Chair shall attend all board meetings of the Board of Trustees and the
annual District Conference.
2. The District Projects Chair shall form a relationship with District Projects Representatives to
have updates from each organization.
3. The District Projects Chair shall give regular reports of all district projects and events in
each edition of The YanKey.
4. The District Projects Chair shall work with the adult committee webmaster in order to
keep the website sufficiently updated with all district and international projects.
5. The District Projects Chair shall work with the Public Relations Chair and committee to
publicize all District Projects (KPTI, COPI, Camp Sunshine).
6. The District Projects Chair shall chair the District Projects Committee, and keep in
constant contact with its membership by a monthly email to committee members with
the adult committee and the governor copied.
7. The District Projects Chair shall give monthly email updates to the entire board via the
google groups by the twenty-fifth of the month.
8. The District Projects Chair shall give annual updates in all general mailings.
9. The District Projects Chair shall set goals for all district projects in terms of total funds
raised, and total donations based on the given amount of the previous year’s data.
10. The District Projects Chair shall give a committee report to the district board at each and
every district board meeting.
11. The District Projects Chair shall brief the incoming District Projects Chair on his/her
responsibilities to the board.
12. The District Projects Chair shall also be an active member of their home club, and is
responsible for attending any divisional and district events that help spread the word of
Key Club.

I have read the District Conference Chair Service Agreement which outlines the minimum duties
and responsibilities of the office, and I am willing and committed to faithfully execute those
duties in the 2015-2016 Key Club year.

Duties of the District Projects Chair
1. The District Projects Chair shall attend all District Board meetings and the annual District Conference:
a. August Board Meeting on August 23, 2015 in Leominster, MA
b. November Board Meeting on October 31 – November 1 in Springfield, MA
c. District Educational Conference on April 7 – 10, 2016 in Springfield, MA
2. The District Projects Chair shall be the liaison between all District Projects and the entire board, including
the Adult Committee.
3. The District Projects Chair shall form a relationship with District Projects Representatives.
4. The District Projects Chair shall strive to attend all other District events:
a. International Convention on June 23 – 28, 2015 in Indianapolis, IN
b. Regional Training Conferences (at least two)
c. Key Leader on September 25 – 27, 2015 in West Ossippee, NH
d. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
e. Key Club Week
f. Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute Day in December in Boston, MA
5. The District Projects Chair shall work with the Public Relations Chair to publicize KPTI Day and
encourage clubs to donate various items and funds.
6. The District Projects Chair shall provide articles about each District Projects and events in each edition of
The YanKey.
7. The District Projects Chair shall work with the Adult Committee Webmaster in order to keep the website
sufficiently updated with all district and international projects.
8. The District Projects Chair shall work with the Public Relations Chair and committee to publicize all
District Projects (KPTI, COPI, Camp Sunshine).
9. The District Projects Chair shall chair the District Projects Committee, and keep in contact with its
members by a monthly email to committee members with the adult committee and the governor copied.
10. The District Projects Chair shall give monthly email updates to the entire board via the Google Groups by
the twenty-fifth of the month (so that the information may be used for the executive board and the
lieutenant governors’ newsletters.)
11. The District Projects Chair shall give updates in all general mailings.
12. The District Projects Chair shall work with the District Treasurer and DECON Chair to plan and run the
Service Fair, Change Wars, Parade of Checks, and other fundraisers at the annual District Educational
Conference. The District Projects Chair shall set a goal for these fundraisers and publicize them with the
help of the Public Relations Chair.
13. The District Projects Chair shall give a committee report at each District Board Meeting

the board.
15. The District Projects Chair shall also be an active member of their home club, and is responsible for
attending any divisional and district events that help spread the word of Key Club.
