• The transfer of all burials to waterloo cemetery
• A week long search for burial space in the Western
area Urban as Kingtom Cemetery reaches its full
capacity.
• Any burial that is likely to be conducted outside the
SoP will not have the support of the burial pillar
and that their respective burial teams will not
participate at any level in the activity.

Recommendations
• The pillar members also agreed that their teams
will not be involved in any political or politically
motivated burial. They therefore suggested that the
security forces police and military personnel alike
be trained as standby teams to undertake SDB
activities in such burials.
• Full implementation of the SoP as private burials
continued in especially hard to access areas in the
provinces and even in the Western Area
• Corpses shipped in from the diaspora requesting
private burial for their loved ones.
