Toddlers explore dance, movement and music in a traditional ballet studio setting while using familiar and creative
themes, stories and props. The tiny dancers will develop gross-motor skills and learn creative self-expression. Class

Our popular Ballet Babies class for the 3 year old child allows the tiny dancers to experience new themes, stories and
props while building onto the student’s social and emotional expression. Class size ranges 8-10 students.

NBB offers pre-ballet classes and camps for preschoolers during our Summer Session. Our Tutus & Tiara's class for 4
year olds and Princes & Sugarplums for 4, 5, & 6 Year Olds are offered in a 3 week session and are continuations of
our popular school year program. Current students enjoy familiar themes and routines from the past school year and
enjoy "Ballet Day" with new summer themes and movements. Summer classes are an excellent for new families to
experience what NBB has to offer.
Young Dancers Workshop I
Ages 6-8 with one year of ballet

Beginner Ballet students will enjoy the beginner level ballet barre, stretching and center work. Terminology, ballet
stories and ballet history will be explored by creating a "Summer Camp" booklet.
Young Dancers Workshop II
Ages 9-12 with 3 or more years of
ballet training

Dancers who have had several years of ballet will enjoy a more advanced barre, stretches and center work. A journal
will be crated to continue their studies of terminology, ballet stories and history. Dancers in the workshop will explore
lyrical and character styles of dance as well as ballet variations.
Intermediate I Ballet and Pointe
Workshop

An in-depth approach to dancers on pointe. Each class will include conditioning, barre and center work, pointe and
pre-pointe conditioning and strengthening. Pointe and variations will be emphasized to enhance the pointe dancers
technique and abilities.

Enrolling
A place in one of our summer classes/camps is not reserved until the Registration and Deposit are received by
NBB. We cannot guarantee that there will be a place for your child if you’ve not registered ahead of time. We
encourage you to reserve a place for your child now by registering as soon as possible. The fees due with your
Registration are the Registration Fee and a Deposit towards your total fees. New students must sign the Image
Release and Liability Waiver before their first day. A confirmation packet will be sent to you a week or two
before your class/camp starts.
Registration Fee
Current NBB Students: The summer registration fee is waived for NBB students in good standing at the end

of the 2014/15 School Year that register on or before June 7 . After June 7 , the registration fee is $20.
Students with a balance due at the end of the 2014/15 School Year may only register at the discretion of NBB.

New Students: The registration fee is $20 for new students that register before June 7 . After June 7 , the
registration fee is $35 (The school year registration fee is waived for new summer students).
Deposit
If your total fees exceed $100, then a deposit of 50% of the total is required to reserve your place. If your total
fee is under $100, then payment in full is required to reserve a place. The deposit is refundable, but you have
to notify us in writing (e-mail is acceptable) at least two weeks before the class/camp starts.
Discounts
The discount is 10% for the 2nd family member, 15% for any additional students. Family members are ranked
by their total fees. Summer Session fees are capped at $450 for the first student, $250 for the second and
$125 for any additional students.
Summer Schedule Changes
NBB monitors class sizes and may cancel and replace those offerings that are not likely to have enough
students to stay on the schedule. We will notify you when we cancel an offering that you've registered for and
refund your deposit.
