TODAY IS – Day 2, Friday, May 22, 2015
ATTENTION ALL LMMS STUDENTS: Any student who will be moving out of the district, withdrawing
from LMMS or transferring to another school on the last day, must stop by the Guidance Office to pick
up a form.
Middle school football training for current 6th and 7th grade students with Coach Fick will take
place in the Eyer weight room from 2:45-4:30pm on Tuesday’s and Friday’s. Sessions will end on
Friday June 5th.
The LMMS girl’s field hockey team needs players for the fall 2015 season. If you are interested in
signing up to play next fall, please contact Alexa Van Doren in homeroom 520 or Kaitlyn Csensits in
homeroom 516. Thank you very much. We hope to see you on the field!
The end of the year Reading Olympics party will take place on Tuesday, May 26 after school in the
library. Hope to see everyone there.
Any boys who like basketball and are interested in attending this summer Hornet Hoop Camp from July
13-16th, should pick up a pamphlet in the main office.
Come join us at the Green Machine Track Camp!! It is a 5 day camp for grades 3 through 9 who are
interested in learning about all the events offered in track and field. Athletes will learn and participate
in the different events while having fun! Papers are available in room 507 and the office.
Our school store will be having a 50% OFF everything sale (EXCEPT CLOTHING) – May 18-28. Nonclothing items will be 50% off the original price.
The last two meetings of the Creative Computing Club will be held on Thursdays, May 28 and June 4 in
room 410. All students who participated in any way throughout the year should come on May 28 to
share what they have done with each other. On June 4th, all parents, teachers, and other interested
students are invited to a Showcase of their work from 3:00-4:00 in room 410. Refreshments will be
served.
Saxophone students who are scheduled for a Day 3 lesson with Mr. Simons should report to the
Auditorium at their assigned time on Tuesday.
All band students who are participating in a small ensemble for next Tuesday's concert will rehearse in
the Band Room during period 9 on Tuesday.

Attention 7th grade NJHS members: The sign up sheets for the officer positions are now posted in the
library. If you are interested in being an officer, please sign up by Thursday, May 28th.
The Green Hornet Youth Football camp with Emmaus Head Coach Randy Cuthbert is being held June
22 –June 25 at Emmaus House School. This camp, designed for players who want to develop basic
skills, learn the game and have fun; is open to boys entering grades 3-8 in the fall. Flyers are available
in the main office. GO HORNETS!
This is week 3 for Speech Classes.
Fall sports sign-ups for prospective middle school athletes will be held in the Eyer Middle School
Cafeteria on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Free fall sports physicals will be offered to
all prospective athletes on Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Emmaus High School Cafeteria from 8:00am
to 11:00am. Please note that physicals will end promptly at 11:00am. PLEASE NOTE: This sign up date
is for current 6th and 7th grade students who are interested in playing a middle school sport next fall
and for current 8th grade students who are interested in playing a high school sport next fall.
