The Newmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Provincial Jr. “A” hockey league would like to invite you to
attend our Prospects Camp for the 2015-2016 season.
We are currently looking to fill roster spots and are looking for talented, intelligent, dedicated and determined hockey players to complete our roster. The camp will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015, Friday
May 1st and Saturday May 2nd, 2015 at the Ray Twinney Sports Complex in Newmarket, Ontario.
Player Prospect Cost : $295.00 PER PLAYER (HST Included)
Thursday April 30, 2015 – 6pm to 10pm
Friday May 1, 2015 – 12pm to 8pm
Saturday May 2, 2015 – 10pm to 4pm
Goalie Prospect Cost: $250.00 PER PLAYER (HST Included)
Tuesday April 21, 2015 – 6pm to 8pm

Waiver of Claims & Medical Release
I the undersigned, acknowledge that the Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. “A” Hockey Club involves vigorous
exertion and activity and the game of hockey involves risks and dangers of personal injury. I hereby
release the Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. “A” hockey club its officers, directors, employees and medical staff
from any and all liability for physical injuries rising or resulting from my attendance and participation in
the Newmarket Hurricanes Prospects Camp.
I further acknowledge that I presently suffer from no medical or physical conditions which have not been
disclosed in full to the Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. “A” hockey club and to the best of my knowledge I am
physically able to partake in the Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. “A” hockey club Prospects Camp.
I, the undersigned, do hereby consent to and authorize the Newmarket Hurricanes medical staff to
provide any and all medical information concerning my mental and physical condition to the Newmarket
Hurricanes and coaching staff.
I have read and understand this waiver and release agreement. I’ am not relying on my oral or written
presentation or statements made by any representative of the Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. “A” Hockey
Club.

Dear Prospect,
If you are interested in playing for one of the premier hockey organizations in the Ontario Junior Hockey
League (OJHL) we would like to have you attend our 2015 Spring Prospects Camp.
The Newmarket Hurricanes are proud of the 120 players that have gone on to US or Canadian Universities, the 26 players who have turned pro and the 10 players that went on to the NHL. We expect to
continue this tradition of success and progress for our players in the coming years.
Our main objective is to continue to offer an outstanding hockey program to players where development, character building and opportunity are at the forefront. This will be accomplished by providing an
excellent hockey environment and experience for our players while ensuring the bond with the community remains strong.
Over the years, all the players, coaches, volunteers and support staff can be proud of the more than
$126,000 the Hurricanes have raised for the South Lake Cancer Center and the continued support of the
various charity, community and minor hockey events throughout the year.
Our Prospects Camp will begin on Thursday April 30, 2015 and will continue through to Saturday May 1,
2015. The Goalie Evaluation Camp will be held on April 21, 2015.
