The Florida Times-Union is pleased to publish information about your engagement at no charge.
Deadlines: Engagement announcements are published Sunday as space permits. Information must be in the hands of the bridal editor
at least two months before the wedding. (Announcements are published no later than 3 weeks before the wedding.) We only accept
forms from the bride-elect/partner 1-elect, groom-elect/partner 2-elect or an immediate family member.
Photographs: Pictures are not used with the free engagement announcements.
Submissions: Complete this form on the computer and use the submit button below to email it to [email protected] or print
it out and mail to: Bridal Editor, The Florida Times-Union, Features Department, P.O. Box 1949, Jacksonville, FL 32231. You may also
bring the completed form to our office at 1 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32202. For more information, call (904) 359-4469.
Note: We also offer paid engagement announcements. Paid engagement announcements start at $50 and include a photo. You are
required to write the announcement exactly as you’d like it to appear in the paper. Arrange for one by calling (904) 359-4407 and
requesting a “paid engagement announcement.” You do NOT need to submit this form if you opt for a paid announcement.
