Grade 5 Students come to Bigelow to see our musical production, “Mary Poppins”,
9:00-11:00 am
Sixth grade registration information and course selection is online. Please visit our website
at bigelow.newton.k12.ma.us and click on the link for Sixth Grade Registration. There you will find
information about transition events and course selection for sixth grade. Please complete the
online registration by Thursday, April 10. The password for accessing the secure online
registration site can be found in Mr. Harrison's welcome cover letter.
Come and learn about sixth grade at Bigelow Middle School. We'll answer any questions that you
may have about the transition and middle school.
Students meet Principal and Guidance Counselor. They learn about Bigelow and hear from
current Bigelow students.

Fifth grade students “Step-up” to their new middle school by touring Bigelow, meeting teachers,
and having a snack in the cafeteria.
Students can visit again, preview their schedule, get a tour of their classrooms, and meet new
classmates during an ice cream social.
