Missy Shores I am proud to serve Bluestone Middle School, the students, staff and community. I believe education to be key in supporting the foundations of our society. Through education young people develop communication and leadership skills and become adept at problem solving. These skills enable them to be productive members in 21st Century United States. This is an exciting time at BMS. We offer a large variety of extracurricular activities both on and off the athletic field. In addition, Project Based Learning is being offered in the Sixth Grade. Career and Technical courses offer students an opportunity to develop skills that will stimulate creative thinking and spark student interests outside of the classroom. The focus this year will be “High Expectations”. Students will be supported by a staff dedicated to ensuring their success. We will expect the best of each student who enters the doors and and takes a seat in our classrooms. The administration and faculty will enforce respect, responsibility and good citizenship. Students will acquire a quality education that will prepare them for success in the high school and beyond.
