DNV GL was awarded a series of ongoing studies examining the various issues around removal of the topsides and jacket structures. The studies assessed industry technologies, weather sensitivity, subsea cutting, feasibility of different removal options, onshore disposal yards, alternative platform use, platform access, aidsand aids to navigation and marine risks.
