We’re challenging you to a SHOWDOWN!
One of the games planned for the Spring Fair is a
BOTTLE DRAW. Players in this game draw a number
and whichever bottle matches their number is the
bottle they win and take home.
We are asking parents/students to bring in “bottled”
items to be used for this game.
The class that can collect the most bottles
will WIN a Sundae Party!
Use your creativity! Anything in a bottle! Sport drinks,
Bubble Bath, Jars of Beads, Hair Products, Jars of
Candy (please make sure it is individually wrapped ie:
lollipops, Hershey kisses, etc.), … You get the idea!
Have fun with it and please no bottled water, pop, or
alcohol
Need HELP!
For Lunch Ordering contact:
A BOTTLE DRAW drop box will be located in each
classroom. The final SHOWDOWN is February 27th and
the winning class will be announced.

For Milk :
At this time we are also asking for donations of your
gently used Books and DVD’s for resale at the Fair.
What a great way to clear those shelves and make
room for more purchased from the Fair.
Heather Beaumont: [email protected]
We will be selling used books and DVDs at the fair.
PLAYGROUND EXPANSION UPDATE
The Neilson Grove Playground is expanding. Habitat has
designed a fantastic layout based on student input and
feedback.
We have a long way to go to meet our $89,000 goal. The
playground fund is just shy of $7,400 at this time.
Proceeds from raffles and the Gaming Grant from the
Provincial Government will be allocated to the fund and we
will be holding several dedicated events to raise funds for
this project but to make the vision a reality, we still need
your help.
We are accepting donations directly to this project. Please
make your cheque payable to: Neilson Grove PAC. When
dropping it off at the office, please ensure that it is clear
that it is for the Playground Fund. For more information,

COMMITTEE MEMBERS
DOUGH RAISER PROGRAM
Neilson Grove is delighted to continue “raising some dough”
through the Cobs Bread Dough Raiser Program. Remember
to mention Neilson Grove Elementary when you shop at the
Ladner store and Cobs will donate 5% of your purchase back
to our school.
You can participate in the Thrifty Foods community
fundraising program. Just obtain a Smile Card from the PAC
and each time you shop, our school receives 5% of the
amount you load on your card. If you have family who lives
in Tsawwassen and shops at Thrifty Foods, you can obtain a
card for them as well. Please contact
[email protected] for a Thrifty Smile Card.
Mabel’s Labels: Do your children misplace or lose their
“things”. Why not label them? The Mabel’s Labels
Fundraiser has been re-opened this year. Please go to:
https://www.mabelsfundraising.com/campaigns/16331neilson-grove-elementary.
We get $10 for each gift card purchased or 20% of your total
order.
This is a great way to personalize your children’s belongings
and can help the school get “lost things” back where they
belong.
