Javier Brenes
Director of Operations

Javier assumed the position of Director of Operations in 2013 for the Alabama Region. He currently
oversees Metro Atlanta in the Georgia Region.
Javier has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. His responsibilities include budget
management, talent development, human resources, asset management, safety and compliance.
In his 15 years with Walmart, Javier has cultivated an environment where associates respect and
adhere to company standards and ethics. He was awarded Market Manager of the Year in 2011 for
Walmart US. Javier graduated Leadership Academy Executive Track in 2013 and Corporate Executive
Development Program at SMU Cox School of Business in 2014. His strong involvement with local
communities and support of various non-profit groups has positively impacted organizations such as
the All Children’s Hospital, where he served as a member of the Walmart Advisory Board from 2007
to 2013.
Javier currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and daughter.
