SHAILAH WILLIAMS • Rowan University

Williams earns NJAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning one individual event
and two relays this week at the CTC Championships hosted by Rowan. She won the 200 meter
dash in a field of 16 runners with an ECAC qualifying time of 24.90. She also took home second
place in the 100 meters, registering an ECAC time of 12.19 in a field of eight competitors. Williams
was also a member of the Profs’ first-place 4x100 relay, which registered a winning and ECAC
qualifying time of 48.00. The performance by Williams in the 100 and 200 meter dashes currently
rank first in the NJAC, and rank 11th and 10th nationally in Division III.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
ALEXIS APPEZZATO • Ramapo College
Senior • Somerville, NJ/Somerville
Appezzato earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after
competing at East Stroudsburg University’s own All-American Meet. She won the javelin event in
a field of 26 competitors, registering an ECAC qualifying mark of 43.36. Appezzato currently holds
the top NJAC throw in the javelin this season, while ranking second nationally in all of Division III.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CELEEA GRAHAM • Montclair State University
Freshman • Perth Amboy, NJ/Perth Amboy
Graham becomes the second different Red Hawk to NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Week honors
after helping MSU to a third-place finish at the CTC Championships hosted by Rowan. She placed
third in the 400 hurdles in a field of seven competitors, registering an ECAC qualifying time of
1:04.38. Graham was also a member of the Red Hawks’ 4x100 and 4x400 relays, which both took
home second place with respective runner-up and ECAC qualifying times of 49.65 and 3:57.47.
The performance by Graham in the 400 hurdles currently ranks third in the NJAC and 32nd nationally in Division III.
