North Mississauga Soccer Club Game Day Operations Assistants (Paid) Application Deadline: April 30th, 2015 Starting Date: May 2015 Game Day Operations Assistant North Mississauga Soccer Club is inviting applications for the position of Game Day Operations Assistant. This paid position will assist the Club with the successful operation of soccer events during weekends and weekday evenings throughout the summer. If you are passionate about the community, soccer, and the ability to acquire meaningful experience within the amateur sport industry then this is the role for you. Requirements and Responsibilities  Proven excellence in work habits, able to work harmoniously with colleagues and work with great initiative and energy  Facilitate the operation of the program (directing and assisting teams, setting up and clearingfields, organizing onsite activities, monitoring and assisting spectators)  Provide quality customer service to players/parents and coaches  Must have access to a vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license  Knowledge of and ability to set up/tear down equipment  Some knowledge of soccer and the basic rules of the game are helpful  Excellent problem solving and decision making skills  Customer-focused and experience in dealing with the public  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills  Ability to work under limited supervision  A valid Vulnerable Sectors Clearance (Police Check)  Ability to multi task with changing priorities  Willingness to work off business hours and weekends  Organize and oversee volunteers during events  To undertake whatever secondary duties that may be necessary for the successful execution of duties related to the position.
