Join us in the competitive 5K Run/1 Mile Awareness Walk to help celebrate “May is Mental Health Month.” May is Mental Health Month This year’s Run/Walk theme is “Mind Your Health,” aimed at increasing awareness that mental health is integral to overall health for everyone. People need to protect their mental health and balance both mind and body to be able to respond to the stress of daily life and the challenges it presents. Proceeds from the Run/Walk will be given to the North Country CMH Consumer Council to assist with transportation, clothing, arts and crafts supplies, or other special needs. 18th Annual Community 9 and under 10-14 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70-74 75-79 80 and over Participants who are 18 years of age or older will be eligible to register for the 2015 lottery to have an opportunity to be one of the 300 participants to run over the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day. This event has been reviewed for its physical activity content and has been endorsed by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports.
