English Division (START TIME 10 AM)
1. Junior English WT – Walk, trot both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
2. Junior English WTC – Walk, trot, canter both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
3. Senior English WT – Walk, trot both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
4. Senior English WTC – Walk, trot, canter both directions of the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
Western Division
5. Junior Western WJ –Walk, jog both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
6. Junior Western WJL – Walk, jog, lope both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
7. Senior Western WJ – Walk, jog both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
8. Senior Western WJL – Walk, jog, lope both directions in the ring. Rider judged on seat, leg and hand.
Junior classes are for riders aged 17 and younger. Senior classes are for riders aged 18 and over.
Special Divisions
Fancy Hat Contest to be held prior to the Carriage class. Prizes in three categories: fancy, clever, funny.
9. Carriage – Single & Pairs (two and four wheel vehicles). Class judged on turnout and horsemanship.
10. Stable Group – Minimum of 3 riders that are judged on horsemanship and how they work as a group.
Parade (START TIME 12PM)
11. Parade Participant – The parade will be led by carriages, with riders following behind. The parade will
travel to Forbidden Drive and continue along the Drive to the judging area at Valley Green Inn.

Show entry: $15 (unlimited classes) - Parade entry: $15
Combine and save! Show and Parade entry: $25.00
(Combined fee includes Wissahickon Valley Riding and Driving Association membership).

In consideration of my being permitted to participate in the Wissahickon Day Parade and Show, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my personal
representatives, assume any and all injuries (including death) to myself and/or my property that may be associated with this activity. I
further waive all claims against and release, discharge, covenant not to sue and hold harmless the Wissahickon Valley Riding and Driving
Assoc., City of Philadelphia, Fairmount Park Commission, Northwestern Stables, Inc. operating Northwestern Equestrian Facility, Friends
of the Wissahickon, Chestnut Hill College and organizers, staff, volunteers, agents and other representatives, any cooperating and
coordinating individuals or agencies and any of their successors and assign in connections with any and all injuries, illnesses or damages of
any kind whatsoever weather caused by negligence or other fault of the above agencies or otherwise. I certify that I am in proper physical
condition to participate in this activity without risk of serious injury. A parent must sign for a minor.
If the participant has any medical problems that may be worsened or aggravated by horseback riding, a medical certificate is required
before the rider participates. You should check with your doctor before this or any physical activities especially if you have not participated
in physical activity for a period of time. It is recommended that all participants check with their doctor and have a tetanus shot.
I also give the media my permission to use my name and picture by above agencies for any and all media.
I ASSUME THE RISK OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES PURSUANT TO PENNSYLVANIA LAW.
I understand all of the above and I understand that this is a contract and I intend to be legally bound for my child and myself.
