HIGH SCHOOLS TENNISDOUBLES - SENIORS AND JUNIORS SAME DAY
2 different dates
May 7 Thursday
May 11 Monday
You can play in either one orboth. If both the second one is half price.
TIMES: 10 am – 3 pm
Since we have 10 courts at thesame location we will be done by 3 pm.
Later start (10 am) to allowtravel time
LOCATION- UTSC(University of Toronto Scarborough College)
MEETING PLACE- 10 Outdoor courts at the back of UTSC.
DO NOT GO TO FRONT OF THE SCHOOL.

PARKING – FREE parking
ENTRY FEE- $40 per player payable at the tournament.CASH OR Cheques payable to Nabil Tadros. Please no student cheques. Only
school cheques or cash will be accepted
LUNCH ANDDRINKS- Players should bring their ownlunch and drinks
ASSOCIATIONTENNIS CONVENORS-Please send out a copy of this letter to the coaches in your association.

ELIGIBILITY- 1 event per player. Schools may enter as many different teams asthey want in the same event.
EVENTS- BD,GD,MD (CHAMPIONSHIP AND CONSOLATION)
CHAMPIONSHIP/CONSOLATION- After the first match players will continuein the championship or consolation side. This is the best
way of separating thehigher caliber ranked from non ranked.
DRAW- Guaranteed 2 matches which are 8 game pro setwith no-ad scoring
DEADLINE- email your entries to [email protected] as soon as possible

JUNIOR OR SENIOR ENTRIES (BD, GDAND OR MX). INDICATE IF ANY OF THE PLAYERS ARE RANKED so that I can make
surethey do not meet each other early.
I do not need names of players. Ionly need the number of entries in each category.
RULES
q All matches are REGULAR 8 game set withno-ad scoring. Tie breaker at 7 all
q GUARANTEED 2 MATCHES
q 5 minute warm up, coaches help to make surethey get started on time
q All players report to scorer after eachmatch with the tennis balls
q No coaching allowed during the matches
q All players must stay in club area as theymay be called at any time
q There are no seedings or rankings.
q Draws are made up randomly as teams arrive.Schools with multiple teams may play their own school at any point in the draw.However,

every effort will be made to avoid schools from playing each otherincluding rearranging draws in any round. Draws are redrawn every
round to tryand avoid teams playing their own school, accommodate late teams, accommodateteams leaving early, etc
q This is not a serious ranking type oftournament. This is a tournament that will provide students with guaranteed 2matches within the
regular school day.
OPTIONAL SIGNOFF ON RULES
To avoid any complaints re tournamentexpectations I would strongly suggest coaches have players and parents sign offthat they have read
and agree with the above rules. Only had one issue since1986 but you never know.
