2015 Annual Meeting Activities Meet the Youngest Professional Engineer to Lead the National Society of Professional Engineers Saturday, June 6th at the Penrose House in Colorado Springs Join us for a special ticketed lunch from Noon-2pm with a very special guest speaker, Kodi Jean Verhalen, P.E., Esq., F.NSPE, Vice President of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). She will serve as NSPE President in 2016-2017, the youngest Professional Engineer and only the third woman to advance in this position since the Society's founding in 1934. Kodi is visiting us from her home state of Minnesota and will speak on Remaining Relevant for the Next Generation of Leaders. Learn more about the benefits of being a Professional Engineer , about NSPE and NSPE-CO and network with others Coloardo Engineers. Participate in any or all activities: 9-11am: NSPE-CO and NSPE-CO Education Foundation annual meetings, including induction of 2015-16 Officers and discussion of association business. The meeting is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested for logistical purposes. Noon-2pm: Box luncheon from Panera Bread, featuring Kodi Jean Verhalen. Tickets are just $15 ($10 for students), which includes lunch, Kodi’s presentation and 1 PDH. 2-3pm: Free Private Tour of the Penrose House. The tour is free, but registration is required. All events will be held at The Penrose House, 1661 Mesa Avenue in Colorado Springs. Once home to Spencer and Julia Penrose, The Penrose House serves as an education and conference center to gather, discuss issues, and discover innovative solutions to challenges.
