The Jr. Project Engineer/Drafter will play a critical role in advancing NTFB’s commitment to excellence by supporting the day-to-day functions of our engineering team under the supervision of the Director of Engineering. Job Title: Jr. Project Engineer Location: Fremont, California Schedule: Full-time Position ID: Posting Date: April 1, 2015 Core Duties  Work with suppliers to ensure the best quality products  Update, revise and review drawings when new information is obtained  Determine project specifications, complete technical studies, and prepare cost estimates by studying product design and customer requirements.  Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment  Willingness to do various types of work beyond specificity of job description  Design engineering systems  Attention to detail and accuracy on all projects  Good communication skills and good technical writing skills  Ability to work well with others as well as work independently Qualifications  B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required  1-2 years’ engineering experience is a plus but not required  Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required  Well versed in PTC Creo (Pro-E)  Willing to learn in a cooperative environment as well as independently  Legally able to work in the US.
