MEET FORMAT: Modified Capitol Cup.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA: In order to compete in the state championships as an event qualifier, you must have
received a score of 9.0 or higher at a NY state qualifying meet.
QUALIFYING CRITERIATO MAKE REGIONALS
Level 7 Qualification will take place at the state championships. Top 7 gymnasts Regardless of age group will
qualify as the State Super Seven. An additional 56 qualifiers [All Stars] will be selected on a % of a % formula.
Level 8 Qualification will take place at the state championships. Top 7 gymnasts regardless of age group will
qualify as the Super Team. There is no bye squad in this session. The top 7 gymnasts in age group [8 – 12];
top 7 gymnasts in age group [13+]; will qualify as the state team. The 8th gymnast in each age division will
advance to a Mixed State Team. An additional 56 qualifiers [All Stars] will be selected on a % of a % formula.
Athletes in the All–Star session will compete on all-star teams.

DEADLINE: 3/20/15 : Due to the timeline, we would suggest you register all your level 7 and 8’s that you think
will make it, and then SCRATCH those that did not qualify. The state will refund all scratches up to 4/6/15

SCORING: Top 4 scores make up the level 8 team score and the top 5 scores make up the team score for
level 7. Live scoring will be available online at Meetscoresonline.com
GRADUATING SENIORS: Please send a list of all graduating seniors for 2015 to Larry Goldsmith via email
([email protected]). Please include the name of the gymnast, along with the level and gym they are currently
in.
