2015 Crematorium Operators
Certification & Training Program
The OACFP invite you to attend this in-depth 2 day program which will ensure you have the necessary training required
under the FBCSA. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the cremation process while protecting the consumer
by offering a high standard of service. This program is open to anyone involved with any aspect of the cremation process
including counsellors, funeral directors, full and part-time operators and owners. This program is the first phase towards
operator certification. Full certification will be granted upon successful completion of the self-administered exam AND
verification that the participant has completed fifty (50) cremation cases (second phase), for which participants have one
full year from the date of the program to complete. The OACFP recommends that anyone who has not attended a crematorium
training program within the last five years, should attend.

This is the first phase towards operator’s certification which will be granted
upon successful completion of the online exam PLUS verification that the
participant has completed fifty (50) cremation cases.

evening of March 23, at no additional cost. Registration is limited to the first
40 delegates that would like information on installing, upgrading or replacing
