Each contestant will make 15 $20 WIN/PLACE mythical wagers ($40 per mythical
wager) per day at selected race tracks. Oaklawn Tournament Officials will
designate five tracks for the contest.
Contestants may play any races from the designated tracks, but need to play at
least one race from each of the five (5) designated tracks.
A player will forfeit their final wager, win or lose, if at least one race from each of
the designated tracks isn’t played.
More than one horse may be selected per race, but each wager must be $20
WIN/PLACE. Each $20 WIN/PLACE wager is a separate bet and will count as one
of the 15 wagers for the day.
Only WIN/PLACE wagers will be accepted. There will be no SHOW wagering.
All WIN/PLACE wagers will be graded with a prize cap of 19-1 for WIN and 9-1 for
PLACE (or $40 to win and $20 to place).
In the event of a late scratch it is the contestant’s responsibility to make the proper
changes. Any unused wagers at the end of the day will not be credited, refunded or
carried over.
In the event of a dead heat, the contestant will be awarded the mutuel price that
applies for their selection.
Entries and fields go as a single wagering interest.
Contestants are strongly encouraged to keep all contest tickets. This is the only
way to solve a dispute if one arises.
Once the contest has started, there will be no refunds. This policy is final and
binding.
