BOATER SAFETY CARD REQUIRED
for boats with steering wheels
Nebraska law requires any motorboat operator (including personal
watercraft) born after December 31, 1985, complete a Boating Safety
Course and be in possession of a course certificate when operating
the boat. You must be at least 14 years of age to operate a motorboat.
All official state certified courses accepted. Iowa 4-hour online course
accepted, (a course fee is charged): http://www.boat-ed.com/Iowa/
index.html. Only the boater safety card holder on the rental agreement is
authorized to operate the boat. Outdoor Recreation offers a course in the
spring and Nebraska Game & Parks offers courses in the area throughout
the spring-summer season.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL SERVICE GUIDE

Most items are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and many may be
reserved in advance. Some items such as boats, campers, and bouncy castles
require a deposit with reservations accepted up to 30 days in advance, in person.
l
Items checked out should be inspected for serviceability prior to your
departure and will be inspected upon return.
l
Items sent out full of gas are required to be full of gas upon return.
l
Items not returned clean will be assessed a minimum cleaning fee of $25 per item.
l
Deposits
will ONLY be applied towards the balance upon return IF the item is
returned on time, clean and dry.
l

Cancellations made within 72 hours will result in forfeiture of deposit.

10 Late fees are assessed if item is returned after 3 p.m. on the original
