2014-15 Annual Report - Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity

North Carolina State University Office of Institutional Equity & Diversity Annual Report 201415 SUMMARY During the 201415 academic year, I have made the following contributions to the greater campus community as a faculty liaison for the Office of Institutional Equity & Diversity. There are two specific contributions that I am most proud of: (1) The creation of my ‘silent’ diversity giving circle which increased the number of new sponsors of the Diversity and Equity Fund; and (2) serving as chair of UDAC. FUNDRAISING Created a diversity giving circle network to: (1) broaden awareness of diversity programs and services at NC State University; (2) enable the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity to identify offcampus partners who financially support diversity, multiculturalism and an inclusive community; and (3) increase support for the Diversity and Equity Fund at North Carolina State University.
