She is the CEO and Director of Ethex, a platform
enabling investments with positive social or
environmental benefits.
Calvin Benedict
As a Senior Researcher at CCP Research Foundation UK,
Calvin’s work has supported ethical and cultural
initiatives related to “Conduct, Culture, People” within
large organisations.
Ben Dyson
Founder of research and campaign group Positive
Money, UK, Ben has committed himself to raising
awareness of flaws in our financial systems.
“The Bank of England recently published a paper explaining
how banks create 97% of the money we use, in the form of
electronic bank deposits, whenever they make new loans.
The evidence implies that this process of money creation is
linked to rising inequality and poverty, high personal and
household debt, economic instability, and the significant
power and influence of the banking sector over the
democratic process. Fundamental reforms of the process of
money creation will be needed if we are to avoid a future
financial crisis”.

the economics of adaptation to climate change and
climate finance, including carbon markets.

international leading academic on currency and
advocates the upgrading of the monetary system to
overcome its current incompatibility to sustainability.
Michael Mainelli
Co-Founder of Z/Yen and Emeritus Gesham
Professor of Commerce at Gresham College, UK,
Michael works emphasises the proper functioning
of markets in realising societal goals.
James Meadway
Senior economist at NEF, James’ recent work
largely focuses on developing responses to the
recession and austerity. With his team, he
develops a model to understand how the
interaction of finance and the environment
shape economic outcomes.
Marloes Nicholls
Co-Founder of the Move your Money UK campaign, and
Programme Manager of Meteos, UK, Marloes’
engagements aims at empowering citizens and
improving communication between actors in finance,
health and energy sectors.
Maria Sharmina
Research Fellow at The Tyndall Centre for Climate
Change Research, UK, Maria is currently focussed on
developing a systematic review assessing energy
consumption and emissions of international trade.
Andrew Voysey
Andrew leads the Finance Sector team under their
Business Platform Portfolio at the Cambridge Institute
for Sustainability Leadership’s, which brings together
business, government and academia to find solutions to
critical sustainability challenges.
