OCTE Young Writer’s Contest
Entry guidelines
• NO ENTRY FEES!
• Each teacher may enter up to
10 manuscripts.
• Entries should be TYPED and
single-spaced.
• Teachers fill out the form for
each submission:

• To insure blind review, do not
put student or teacher names on
the manuscript. Please write
teacher’s last name, school, and
Young Writers in the subject line
of the email (e.g., McAfee,
Milton High, Young Writers).
• ALL ENTRIES MUST BE
SUBMITTED
ELECTRONICALLY via email
attachment (.rtf, .doc, .docx, or
.pdf).
Write with a purpose and a chance
for statewide recognition!
Winners will be published in the 2015 Oklahoma Young Writer’s
Anthology. Students, their parents, and teachers will be invited to
the Young Writers Awards Luncheon in April 2015 at
Oklahoma City University.
Each winner and teacher receives a free copy of the anthology.
Additional copies may be purchased for $5 each.
