AQHA Rules: The Redbud Spectacular is governed by the AQHA
Official Handbook of Rules and Regulations. Any violations are subject to
forfeiture of monies, awards and prizes at the sole discretion of the
OQHA Board of Directors or its designees. Entry into the show is
voluntary and all entrants agree to abide by the rules of the show.

Class Conflicts: Exhibitors with class conflicts must contact paddock
personnel at both rings to work out a solution. Classes will not stop
in order to wait on an exhibitor. We will work with you if advised.

Departure: Exhibitors must be out of stalls by 8 AM, June 8th.
Dogs: Dogs are not allowed in the arenas. In other areas, dogs must be
kept quiet and under control at all times.
Entries: Entries added after class is drawn will be placed in the draw at
show managements discretion. No entries will be taken once class has
begun. No refunds on scratches unless the show office is notified at least
two classes prior. Scratches taken at the gate will not be refunded.
Gate Call: A two (2) minute gate call will be strictly enforced.
Parking: Parking between the barns is limited to unloading and
loading only and will be strictly enforced by OKC State Fairgrounds.
Attention local exhibitors: Do not plan to park in this area to work out of
your trailers. An area as close as possible to the arenas will be reserved for
in and out trailer parking.

AQHA Leveling Program at the 2015 Redbud Spectacular
In an effort to level the playing field by allowing more exhibitors and horses to compete with
others of comparable experience and profieciency, AQHA has established its Leveling
Program, which went into full operation in January of 2014.
Overview of Leveling
Leveling is done on a class by class basis. The number of points needed to pass from one level to the next, is based on either the horse’s or
the rider’s cumulative points in that class (in any division) over the previous 3 years. In Amateur and Youth Divisions, levels are based on the
exhibitor’s points. In Open Division, the levels are based on the horse’s points, with the exception of Halter, Speed Events, and Cattle Classes,
which will be based on exhibitor points.
There are 4 layers to the Leveling. The first is Rookie. There are no Rookie classes held at the Redbud Spectacular. The next is Level 1 (formerly Novice or Green), followed by Level 2 (formerly Intermediate or Progressive, and finally Level 3 (fomerly Open).

What Level am I and what level is my Horse?
AQHA has pubished a list of specific points required for each class for each level. In addition, they have published a listing at www.aqha.
com/leveling, in which you can find your own name, or your horse’s name, and check to see what level you are in each of the classes you show.
You will need your Membership ID# and your Horses Registration #.
It is important to note that a horse or exhibitor may show at a higher level than their points would indicate, but they may not show at a lower
level.

3. You Must fill in the Drivers License information requested in “A” above.
This check will be retained in the Feed & Bedding office until the end of the
show unless you decide to close the account earlier. Sorry we Cannot open
a charge account by credit card, but at the end of the show if your prefer to
pay your account by cash or credit card we will return your check to you.
D. Your payment by check, credit card, or “Open Account Check”, along with information from A, B, or C above, Must be included to process your order.
E. A handling and mailing fee of $10.00 will be charged if you do not come to the feed & bedding office to close your account before you leave the show.
