What is RemoteView?
RemoteView allows you to remotely connect with and support your computers from
anywhere in the world. All you need is an Internet connection and a web-browser.

2. Installing the RemoteView Agent
2.1.
Requirements before installing the Agent
2.1.1. Account credentials and information
Before installing the Agent on the computer you want to access remotely, make sure
to have the following information ready.
A. ID for Business/Server
B.
RemoteView Web ID & Password (for logging into the website)
C. System Access ID & Password (for remotely accessing your PC)
2.1.2. Downloading the install package

Login to the RemoteView Business website (http://biz.rview.com)
②
Go to Settings >Download > Manual Install > Linux Console

Installing the Agent (regular installation)
2.2.1. Unpacking the install package

Run the Terminal, move to the location where rvsetupbiz.tar is located and unpack
the file [Figure 1]
Command : $ tar –zxvf rvsetupbiz.tar <Enter>

Start the installation by running the shell script.

☞ Note: if you already have root level privilege, “sudo” command is not required.

and select YES when prompted to use the Proxy Server.

② To remove the RPM package, type $ “sudo rpm –e rvagent” <Enter>

4. Remote PC Controls menu
This menu is accessed by right-clicking a remote PC icon.

Description
Refreshes the icon to show the computer’s
online/offline status.
Connects in terminal mode using Putty.
Adds the PC or group to the Favorites.
Moves the selected PC to a different group.
Deletes the selected PC.
Change the login credentials.
View the Agent’s information.

Verify to connect
Check and refresh the agent’s current state.

Remote Terminal
Start remote controlling after entering the access authentication info.
4.3.
Favorite
Most frequently accessed PCs can be added to Favorite to easily manage them.
4.4.
Move
Move the selected PC to a Group or Favorite.
 Favorite : Favorite -> Favorite

4.5.
Group : Group -> Group
Delete
Deletes the selected PC from the list.
 By deleting from the list, the PC is removed from the list only and the agent
in the remote PC remains.
4.6.
Change Access ID/PW
Change/update the access ID and password of the selected PC. Password change
window will pop-up immediately if the access security option is turned off.
4.7.
Properties
Properties window pops up with current information. Users will be able to change /
update this information.
