MEXICO HOME BUILDING – for family-in-needs
Olive Children Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit, educational organization that strives to inspire and prepare
our young people to be the future leaders of tomorrow, in order to better themselves and their
community. Since 2011, we have been organized and helped Mexico Home Building projects for family-inneeds in Tijuana, Mexico. There have more than 20 homes been built and 300 + people from bay area involved
which includes Mission San Jose High, Irvington, James Logan, American High, Cupertino as well as Pleasanton
and San Ramon high schools. If you would like to help out to build a complete house for a needy family this
summer, in 4 days and earn up to 50 hours of community service hours. June 2015 Homebuilding group is
forming.

Applicants must be in high school in order to receive community service hours..
Applicants must be in good health and highly motivated
No building experience needed.
PROGRAM FEES:

Students place a $100 deposit fee, which will be used for a building material purchase.
Students must provide own transportation/visa to Tijuana, Mexico.
Fundraising for the home building fee.
Lodging, food, and local transportation will be shared among all the participants.
