OLIVE CHILDREN FOUNDATION, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, strives to prepare our children to be the future leaders of tomorrow. American Youth Ambassador Teaching English/American Culture in China 8/6-8/18/2015 American Youth Ambassador Program Part of the vision at Olive Children Foundation is to inspire and prepare our young people to be the leaders for tomorrow, in order to better themselves and their community. This August 2015, we are proud to present a partnership between Olive Children and Guangming Middle School for an experience abroad in China to teach English. Teaching English abroad will allow you to gain real-world experience and international competency, experience a new culture, establish new friends, as well as build your resume. If you are interested in service and volunteering, have an enthusiasm for sharing American culture, consider joining us! After the service, Olive Children Foundation will provide service hours, as well as assist students in applying for the prestigious President's Volunteer Service Award. PROGRAM ACTIVITIES: The program will be held in August 6-18, 2015. There are 12 volunteer spots available in this program. Volunteers will prepare a 10 day lesson plan in the months leading up to our departure date. We will then implement the 10 day curriculum at Guangming Middle School. We will tour of several areas of China will be conducted during the weekend as well as the last three days of our stay. APPLICATION QUALIFICATIONS: 1. 2. 3. 4.
