Nebraska Sings Choral Festival Join the Omaha Symphonic Chorus and five other Omaha choirs for the world premiere of “Let There Be Music,” a new choral work by nationally recognized Nebraska composer, Kurt Knecht. Commissioned for the 50th anniversary of the Lied Performing Arts Center, this inspiring piece features texts from Willa Cather and other Nebraska authors. Choirs in Omaha, Lincoln and across the state will raise their voices in celebration on March 21st. The Omaha event features the following ensembles each presenting a short program before joining together for the premier.
