Step 2: Decide the estimated number of icons that will be sold during the campaign. Step 7: Display the icons to raise awareness and show support for those battling Crohn’s & colitis in the community, CCFA, and the fight against Crohns’ Disease & ulcerative colitis! Step 3: Decide the purchase price. Usually between $1 and $5 per icon. THANK YOU! Step 6: The customer can write his/her name or the name of a loved one on the purchased icon. Step 5: If the customer chooses to support CCFA by purchasing an icon, the handy barcode can be scanned at checkout. The bar code makes tracking the number of icons the business sells EASY! Icons can still be sold if the business does not use a barcode scanner. Step 4: At point of purchase or check-out, the employee will inquire if the customer would like to support CCFA & those in the community battling Crohn’s & Colitis by purchasing a Take Steps icon. Think Outside the Box The Take Steps Icon Campaign is not limited to retail stores. Icons can be sold at school and displayed in the hallways, lunchroom, etc. Sell icons at work and display in the break room, public area, the outside of your cubicle, etc. Some other great places to inquire about selling icons are GI doctor’s office, dental office & eye doctor.
