Analog Gateway
Master/Backup Call Function User Manual
Create Single SIP Account
1. Enter SIP Endpoint Interface
2. Click “Add Sip Endpoint” Button
If this account uses Master/Backup call method, then fill the IP of
backup server in the “Backup Hostname or IP Address”.
Notice: Master and backup SIP account need to be all the same
except IP address.
Click “Save” button. Then back to previous interface, there will be two
SIP accounts, the backup SIP account ends up with “backup”.
3. Bound SIP Account
When bonding SIP account, you need to choose “300” not “300backup”. After bonding, this trunk has master and backup account.
When you call out with this SIP account, the server will first detect
master account status after dial num. When the master is unavailable,
this call will be sent out by backup account. (This detection performed
by the background every 15s)
Create Batch of SIP Accounts
Creating single or batch SIP accounts is the same, just add one input box
to fill in backup server IP address.
After save, there is no need to go to Analog interface to bond trunks.
