2015 Volunteer Guidelines
Applicable to Individual, Groups and Non-Profit Group Volunteers
Age Limits:
 Event day volunteers must be at least 16 years old. In limited areas, volunteers may be 14-15 years
old with supervision and Air Show permission.
 Pre-show and post-show volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
 No volunteer under the age of 18 may operate any equipment rented or leased by the Air Show.
 All volunteers driving equipment must show a valid driver’s license prior to being assigned.
Regular Volunteers:
Non-Profit Groups:
Individuals and groups—Not eligible to receive donation compensation.
501(c)(3) registered organizations—may request donation in exchange for
volunteering.

All Volunteer Guidelines apply to non-profit groups.

Every new and returning volunteer must personally accept the Volunteer Release Statement,

After submitting an application online, volunteers can expect to receive confirmation including
assignment information via email, usually within 48 hours.

Only confirmed volunteers will be given volunteer benefits and/or allowed to volunteer.

Shift Commitment: All volunteers are committing to complete their entire shift(s). No part-time or
split-shifts are available. 2015 shifts are Friday, 4:30-10:30 pm; Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am – 5:00
pm unless otherwise scheduled depending on assignment. Pre-show and post-show assignment
schedules vary by assignment. Shifts are confirmed in the Volunteer Packet received during Training
Session.

Safety Commitment: All volunteers are committing to follow the safety guidelines applicable to their
assignment outlined in Safety From the Ground Up .

A mandatory volunteer training session will be held for some volunteer areas.
If your area is listed—
o Individual volunteers must attend the training session according to their volunteer
assignment area or position.
o Group leaders are responsible for ensuring their volunteers receive proper training if all
members cannot attend.
