Fortune Cookie
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Time to Complete: Approximately 30 minutes

GENERAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
What you’ll need to complete
the Fortune cookie:
• Scissors or X-ACTO Knife
• Butter Knife
• Ruler
• Cutting Mat (optional)
1 Score the folding edges: Using a ruler as a
guide, run the backside of a butter knife along
the dashed line.
2 Using scissors or an X-ACTO knife and cutting
mat, cut along the outside edges of the circle.
Also cut out the fortune, if desired.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FORTUNE COOKIE
1 Fold paper circle in half, patterned sides
together, and create a good crease. Unfold.
4 Place the fortune strip in the middle of the
fortune cookie.
2 Open the paper so that the patterned side
faces up, and turn the paper so that the
crease is vertical to you.
5 Holding the edges together, place a finger in
3 Gently fold circle together, lining up the crease
so that each side is even, but DO NOT crease
in the center at this time.
6 Your fortune cookie is ready!
