2016 SYMPOSIUM Programming Sponsorship Opportunities CONNECTING AND INSPIRING THE WOMEN OF OSU THROUGH PHILANTHROPY WOMEN FOR OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY is a diverse group of visionary women who share a passion for inspiring leadership and financial support to Oklahoma State University. Women for OSU envisions a culture of giving and service that acknowledges the significant impact women have at OSU and inspires others to positively shape the future of the university through philanthropy and engagement. Sponsored by the Oklahoma State University Foundation, Women for OSU is led by a working council of women with an established family history of giving to the university. These women serve throughout the year on focused teams that support and advance the strategic direction of the organization. Our goal is to increase the number of female donors to OSU as well as increase their total giving through the Women for OSU Endowed Scholarship, a prestigious award that recognizes academics, philanthropic and volunteer activities among OSU’s students. Funds for this endowment are generated through private donations and sponsorships from events, which allow students to become stronger leaders and educated philanthropists. 2015 Women for OSU Scholarship Recipients Julia Benbrook Sophomore Multimedia Journalism Woodward, Okla.
