here to help you understand it. Our two resource portals equip
employment service providers and employers with information to
help connect Ottawa’s job seekers to jobs.

Labour Market Information - There is a myriad of labour market information available
from a wide variety of sources. In this section of our website, we provide key
information and resources for a variety of labour market topics, including those areas
identified as Priority Issues in our 2010-12 Labour Market Plan.

local picture for over 250 occupations based on the 2011 NOC codes.
Ottawa’s Top Jobs “by the numbers” - Explore these one-page infographics highlighting
occupations with the most jobs in Ottawa, as well as the fastest growing ones, complete
with occupation descriptions, wages, and education requirements.
OttawaJobPath.ca - A Resource Portal for Ottawa Service Providers Working with Job
Seekers - This portal has been developed by Labour Market Ottawa, in partnership with
community stakeholders, to provide information and links on a broad range of services
and resources available to Ottawa service providers working with job seekers. Our goal
is to continuously renew this portal with information and resources shared by our users.
OttawaStaffingToolkit.ca - A Resource Portal for Ottawa Employers Growing their
Workforce - This portal has been developed by Labour Market Ottawa, in partnership
with community stakeholders, to provide information and links on a broad range of
resources and services available to Ottawa employers who are growing their workforce.
The content is geared to small to medium-sized business with fewer than 50 employees,
as these organization are not likely to have a dedicated Human Resources staff member
or formal HR function. Our goal is to continuously renew this portal with information
and resources shared by our users.
