Executive Master Class Preparing federal leaders for the Senior Executive Service The Partnership’s Executive Master Class helps agencies identify and prepare aspiring senior executive leaders. The 80-hour course reinforces Executive Core Qualification knowledge through illustration and application, addresses challenges unique to government leadership through research-based learning, and strengthens interagency networks. This course is designed for high-performing GS-15 (or equivalent) government employees who aspire to become members of the Senior Executive Service. Participants may already be enrolled in a Candidate Development Program or may use the Executive Master Class as the training component to prepare for SES application and consideration. PROGRAM DETAILS Location All sessions will take place at the Partnership’s offices in Washington, D.C. Cost The cost is $5,500 per participant. Time Commitment The Master Class meets for two and a half days per month, over the course of four months, for a total of 80 hours of training. Days 1 and 2 are full days and day 3 is a half day. As part of this program, participants will: ɚɚ Learn how to apply best practices through a dynamic mix of case studies, exercises and leadership panels ɚɚ Engage in interactive discussions and activities focused on applying lessons learned and committing to action plans ɚɚ Perform in-depth site visits to first-class “benchmark” organizations as well as work with organizations directly in tackling their challenges ɚɚ Receive both group and peer-to-peer coaching ɚɚ Become a member of the Partnership’s Leadership Alumni Network The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to revitalize our federal government by inspiring a new generation to serve and by transforming the way government works.
