The Erie County Auto Bureau offers the new,
easier way to obtain an E-ZPass account!
E-ZPass On-the-Go is the new innovative way to obtain an E-ZPass account. E-ZPass On-the-Go will allow the
busy traveler to open an E-ZPass account without filling out an application or waiting in line.
It’s as EE--Z as 11--2-3:
1.
Stop at any Erie County Auto Bureau to purchase the pre-packaged account kit for $25.00
**Also available at the Erie County Clerk’s Office-92 Franklin Street, Downtown Buffalo

Mount the tag in the vehicle and start using it immediately.

Visit the E-ZPass web site and register your tag within 48 hours of its first use. Once the tag is
registered, the full $25.00 will be moved to your E-ZPass account.
Existing E-ZPass customers that have a New York State Thruway or MTA Bridges & Tunnels account can also
pick up an additional tag if needed. The full $25.00 is applied respectively to the account once the tag is
registered.
