Winter hats and gloves – attach to
matching coat, or bring flat and we’ll clip
on coat rack, or put in basket.
Swimwear, only if like new.
(Use 1 pin to attach tag, and catch top &
bottom. Upper left.)
Costumes – attach everything onto ONE hanger.
Plastic bags may help keep pieces
together. Merchandising will pay off. We will have a bulletin board that single accessories
(masks, hats, etc.) can be attached via a T-pin.
All items not meeting guidelines will be returned to the consignee at check in, including items
not tagged properly and items that are stained, dirty, smelling of smoke or storage and those
that are out of date, off-season or in poor condition.
Most items can be sold for roughly 20-25% of their retail price. Boutique, higher end brand
name items and items that are new with tags can go for 30% of the retail price.
It’s not about the Name on the label. Quality, clean standard brands often sell better because
they are affordable. Ask yourself, "What would I pay for this item in my child's current size, given the
cost of a new one and the condition of this one?"
Some examples of Standard and High end labels are:
Standard - Faded Glory, Carters, Circo, Healthtex, Sonoma,
Simply Basic, Kid Connection, Lee, Levi, Old Navy
High end - Gymboree, Janie & Jack, Baby Gap, Koala Kids,
Limited Too, Baby Lulu, Talbots Kids, Tommy Hilfiger,
Calvin Klein
We will NOT sell maternity clothing. Experience showed us very little was purchased. Sorry!
