The most important tour of the world comes again to the
Club de Campo Villa de Madrid
From May 1 to May 3 the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid will host the 105 edition
of the International Show Jumping of Madrid, which, for the third year, will be part
of Longines Global Champions Tour, the world's leading equestrian circuit.
LONGINES GLOBAL CHAMPIONS TOUR
The Global Champions Tour (GCT), which this year celebrates its tenth edition, is
the most prestigious and largest endowment of world international equestrian
circuit.
The competition consists of several competitions jumps high-class, located in
emblematic cities. The Global Champions Tour is considered as "Formula 1 Racing"
and it's best horsemen and women of the world participate in their competitions.
MADRID, THIRD LEG OF 2015
Madrid will be the third LEG in the Longines Global Champions Tour 2015 calendar,
which this year began in Miami in early April and will have a total of 15 stages,
taking place on three continents (Europe, Asia and America). A Miami will follow
Antwerp, Madrid, Shanghai, Hamburg, Cannes, Monaco, Paris, Estoril, Chantilly,
London, Valkenswaard, Rome, Vienna and the final, which will be held in Doha in
November.
The Global Champions Tour 2015 Longines distribute more than 10 million euros in
prizes, including the Grand Final, which will access only the top 25 riders from the
regular circuit.
The program Madrid will host two simultaneous competitions: CSI 5 * and CSI 2*
and will consist of 15 classes held on 1, 2 and 3 May and will distribute more than
500,000 euros in prizes

RELEVANT INFORMATION

• VENUE: Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.
• PARTICIPANTS: over 200 horses, 120 riders, 21 countries and 15 tests.
• MAJOR TEST: Saturday May 2: the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of
Madrid presented by CaixaBank and Sunday May 3rd: SM Cup The King El Corte
Ingles Trophy will close the competition.
• PRIZES: over 500,000 euros in prize money, of which 320,000 euros will be
delivered on Saturday May 2 at the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of
Madrid presented by CaixaBank
• TV COVERAGE: Eurosport and Teledeporte (TVE) will broadcast the most
important classes of the contest.

COMPETITION SCHEDULE
SHOPPING VILLAGE
The 105 International Jumping Competition of Madrid offers an extensive shopping
village, which consists of over 25 tents located next to the main arena, from 10:00
h. to 20.00 h.
Visitors will find stands of fashion, accessories, equestrian equipment,
merchandising, food, hospitality...
PONI PARK
The CCVM School organizes a ponies area where children can get a horse
baptism
and
have
their
first
contact
with
the
horse
world.
Hours: 12.00. to 14.00 h. and 17.00 h. to 19.00 h.
RESTAURANTS
The event made available to the public several dining options: bars, restaurants
and a tent buffet. The aim is that viewers spend the day in the Club de Campo
Villa de Madrid enjoying the competition.
