Conditions of Entry:
Fee is $8 per entry for members and $10 per entry for non-members which is to be included with the completed entry form.
Entry forms available from the Executive Officer, Christine Roberts and in the GP Hall on Show day.
Entries are restricted to two entries in any one Class with a maximum of six entries per farm.
Each entry is to comprise no less than one hectare.
Entries close with the Executive Officer, Christine Roberts on 11th May 2015.
No Late entries or telephone entries will be accepted.
Entry is restricted to those living within the Oxford A & P District – if in doubt please discuss with the Executive Officer.
All entries to include details of fertilizer type, seed type, chemical, cultivation methods (for educational and research purposes).
Judging will be held on13th & 14th May 2015. Judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
Judges will meet at the A & P Grounds and depart at 9am sharp. Judges will retain the right to revise the class being entered
as they see fit. Entrants are most welcome to follow the judging entourage
Results will be announced at the Oxford Working Men’s Club 14th May 2015 at 7pm.
Supper will be provided.
Prizes will be awarded for:
First, second and third place in each class
Most Points gained in overall competition
Most Outstanding paddock of Brassica
Most Outstanding paddock sprayed and direct drilled
Most Outstanding mixed paddock (including brassicas)
Supreme Champion for Best Overall Crop of Winter Feed
Most Outstanding mixed paddock (excluding brassicas)
Best completed entry form
The Des McGrath Challenge Cup will be presented to the Supreme Champion Overall
All prizes will not necessarily be awarded and will be at the discretion of the judges
