PLAY reached 21.9% market share with further expansion of revenues and EBITDA
Q1 2015 Highlights:









Total operating revenue in Q1 2015 amounted to PLN 1,228m, increasing by 24.5%
comparing to Q1 2014
Usage revenue for the twelve months ended Q1 2015 amounted to PLN 3,682m,
increasing by 20.5% year over year
Q1 2015 usage revenues amounted to PLN 959m, an increase by 19.7% over Q1 2014
Adjusted EBITDA for the twelve months ended Q1 2015 amounted to PLN 1157m,
up by 37% over twelve months ended Q1 2014
Q1 2015 Adjusted EBITDA amounted to PLN 323m, up by 12% over Q4 2014
Q1 2015 subscriber net additions amounted to 399k, increasing by 90% compared to
growth in Q1 2014
Total customer base reached 12.7 million (+15.9% year on year), while share of contract
subscribers increased to 48.3%, up from 45% in Q1 2014;
Play achieved 21.9% market share (an increase by 2.6 p.p y-o-y)
Further roll-out of 4G LTE network allowed to offer 4G LTE service to 75% of population
as of March 31, 2015
In Q1 2015 PLAY continued subscriber base growth accompanied by ARPU growth (on year on year
basis) led to further revenue and EBITDA expansion. Usage revenue for the twelve months ended March
31, 2015 amounted to PLN 3,682 million, representing an increase by 20.5% over twelve months to
March 31, 2014. The share of contract subscribers in total subscriber base further increased to 48.3% in
Q1 2015, compared to 47.3% in Q4 2014 and 45% in Q1 2014. This was achieved due to continued
strong development of contract subscriber base, with contract subscribers accounting for 81% of overall
subscriber base growth in Q1 2015.

PLAY’s subscriber base grew to 12.7 million customers as of March 31, 2015 representing an estimated
21.9% of all reported mobile subscribers in Poland. Market share increased by 2.6 p.p. comparing to
19.3% as of March 31, 2014. PLAY continued to acquire the highest share of customers porting their
numbers under Mobile Number Portability, registering 50% share.
Adjusted EBITDA for twelve months ended March 31, 2015 amounted to PLN 1157 million, an increase
by 37% compared to twelve months ended March 31, 2014. For Q1 2015 standalone the Adjusted
EBITDA was PLN 323 million representing 12% growth over Q4 2014. Adjusted EBITDA growth in Q1
2015 was influenced by outstanding contract subscriber acquisition results, with net contract subscriber
base growth by 321k in Q1 2015 compared to growth by 154k in Q1 2014.
