Free from the rest of the year’s hectic pace, summer allows the mind to wander and the senses to fill. What better time to sink your hands into clay, or load a brush with tantalizing color? For kids, it’s a time to let their creativity loose. pliant brains blossom, and problem-solving is a joy. when doing something creative, kids concentrate effortlessly. learning is cemented with hands-on, tactile experiences. all while having fun! and you don’t have to be a Picasso to enjoy a sense of accomplishment with your finished work of art. summer is a special time at pelham art center. weeklong summer “camp” sessions are fun and flexible, to fit with families’ summer schedules. AM, PM and full day camp workshops are jam-packed with creative experiences, from art-making to theater. scholarships are available and all abilities welcome. adults can choose from an exciting variety of art and craft classes and workshops, from traditional to trending. all experience levels are welcome. our affordable classes and workshops are all taught by artist-instructors. pelham art center topples the barriers to experiencing and enjoying art. that’s why we offer so many free family-friendly art activities, like exhibitions of local, national and international artists. Late Pick-Up Policy: NEW! As a courtesy to the instructors and PAC staff, we request that all students are picked up ON TIME. To ensure that students are not picked up late, PAC has implemented the following late pick-up billing policy: $10 per every 15 minutes late, beginning ten minutes after the class has ended. PAC will charge the credit card used to pay for the current semester’s workshop or classes in which the student is enrolled. Rolling/Late Registration: Students may enroll in most classes after the semester has begun. All fees are pro-rated except material, lab, model, and firing fees. Weather Related Closing: If weather necessitates closing and cancelling classes, this information will be on the Center’s telephone recording at (914) 738-2525 x111. Make up sessions will be scheduled. Class Cancellations: PAC reserves the right to cancel classes and/or delay the start date. If cancelled, everyone registered will be notified and issued a class credit or refund.
